This guide explains how Volpestones work and the difference in rarities between the variety of designs.

Forehead Gems
Forehead gems vary in shape. The are most commonly a diamond shape, less so a circular shape, and rarely are any other sort of shapes corresponding the the theme of the Volpestones.

Themes
Volpestones can have multiple different themes. Some may represent constellations while another represents Easter or Christmas. This themes are then shown via the colors and designs of the volpestone along with the gem on their forehead acting as a symbol.

Legs and Eyes
A Volpestone's legs can have fur tufts or mist that come out of the sides of their legs. The eyes can be opened or closed, and the eye color varies.

Body Gems
Gems on the body are placed in specific areas and vary in rarity. They are not required like the forehead gem. They most commonly appear on the chest, uncommonly on the back and tip of the tail, and rarely are scattered amongst the tail.
